Dear NXP Team,

We are currently using L4.14.98 release we are observing error relating usb cdc-acm in imx8dx

cdc_acm 1-1:1.2: acm_port_activate - usb_submit_urb(ctrl irq) failed
xhci-cdns3: WARN urb submitted to disabled ep
cdc_acm 1-1:1.2: acm_port_activate - usb_submit_urb(ctrl irq) failed

cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: failed to set dtr/rts
xhci-cdns3: ERROR unknown endpoint state for ep
cdc_acm 1-1:1.1: urb 2 failed submission with -22
xhci-cdns3: ERROR unknown event type 31
xhci-cdns3: ERROR unknown event type 22
xhci-cdns3: WARN waiting for error on ep to be cleared
cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: failed to set dtr/rts
xhci-cdns3: ERROR unknown endpoint state for ep
cdc_acm 1-1:1.3: acm_start_wb - usb_submit_urb(write bulk) failed: -22
systemd: 20 output lines suppressed due to ratelimiting

Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x0000008b

Why this error is observed?

How to resolve this error?

Hi Carlos,

Even I'm also facing the same issue with the same source but on i.Mx8qxp.

We are connecting LTE module through USB. There, I'm getting the below error while power OFF and ON the module.

"cdc_acm 1-1:1.0: failed to set dtr/rts"

Can you help me to resolve this?
