i'm trying to configure ltib (.(ltib -- configure) but i have a lot of errors of the followinf type:

http://btshrine.org/gpp/<whatever_packet>.tar.gz.md5

404: not found

try http://btshrine.org/gpp/<whatever_packet>.tar.gz

404: not found

if i remove the specific packet i have the same for another packet....

Well i will try to make a list, but several packages give the same problem, and when it fails on a package it stops. SO i have to remove it then add another one and check again...

Which BSP are you using? basically, most of the packages are existed in the BSP package. After installed the LTIB, the packages will stored in the /opt/freescale/pkgs/ folder.

We are using the la BSP available on freescale site for IMX6Q. (we have sabre SD board).

now I was trying to add gstreamer and i have the 404 error on the following packet.

i tried to access it also trough a browser access but says 404 so it seems it is not present.

Does Ltib use an http access or FTP to download it?

in case it uses FTP it is possible to have username and password to try to download packet using a ftp client? it could be good to have a m,ethod to list the packet present on bitshrine.org/gpp maybe the errors are only version problem...

ok, but my question is: if I check something during ./ltib --configure , Ltib try to build the packeges i selected and download what it needs, so I suppose that ltib it should be able to do that, but some packages are missing on the repository ? or wrong repository ? or wrong package name?...

whatever thanks whit your answer maybe i can solve this particular 404 error , but the 404 error come out selectin other packet (example dt-d) and we have also errors compiling some packets (gtk2) we have some undefined errors....

The package may not exist in the gpp so you got this 404 error. I think you can try to download the software package from other web then put it to the /opt/freescale/pkgs/.

Ok I will do that (Index of /buildsources/l/libfslcodec/libfslcodec-3.0.1)

but of course it should not be in this way...

because if i found that packet somewhere else I am not sure if it is correct , correctly patched (as you see in the previous link there is also a patch for that packet).

it the packet comes from a freeescale repository , I'm more confident that it is "certified" and "tested"....

i downloaded the coded put in the pkgs and now ltib find them, but a new error:

libfslmsparser-3.0.1.tar.gz

is missing...

going ahead i can find it on internet and then put it in ,,,,,

I cannot find it.... googled but nothing.... :smileycry:

Omar,

I had this same problem and found I was using the wrong IMX_MMCODECS_3.0.1.tar.gz bundle (I think this came froma pre-release 12.09.01_ER).

Assuming you're using the 12.09.01_GA Linux BSP, try re-downloading the latest IMX_MMCODEC_3.0.1 bundle from Freescale.com (and the IMX_AACPD_3.0.1 bundle if you're using those too).

The MD5sum on the Old IMX_MMCODECS_3.0.1.tar.gz bundle I was using was af265bb5c67b8a72fc40eb56b6d112e9 which was wrong.

The MD5sum on the New IMX_MMCODECS_3.0.1_BUNDLE_CODA.tar.gz bundle on Freescale.com (at the time of this post) was 55402c1e74d008eebb88822fc0bc897e.

Unpacking this bundle and copying the source packages from ./IMX_MMCODECS_3.0.1_BUNDLE_CODA/ltib\ codecs/ to /var/tmp/pkgs cleared up this problem for me.

The downloads should be IMX_MMCODECS_3.0.1_BUNDLE_CODA.tar.gz and IMX_AACPD_3.0.1_BUNDLE_CODA.tar.gz.

For quick download, use link below to the Design_Tools_Tab (assuming i.MX6Q), expand the 'Run-time Software' -> 'Middleware-Codecs and other Algorithms' section and re-download the Linux codec bundle (IMX_MMCODECS_3.0.1).

Due to the license limitation, "libfslaacpcodec, libfslmscodec and libfslmsparser" are in the Special Multimedia Codec package. Not in the Standard Package which can download from public freescale web page. Please contact marketing or sales for the special package.

I have downloaded L3.0.35_4.0.0_MM_CODECS from the link above. When I select the gpu-viv-bin-mx6q package in LTIB, I get:

I tried updating my .ltibrc file to use timesys as my ppp_url

I can't see the files in bitshrine.org/gpp folder, and the timesys folder does not have an md5 file in their /gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-3.0.35-4.0.0 path.

Questions:

A) Is the gz file really missing from bitshrine?

B) Assuming that I calculate the MD5 of the timesys file, what file do I edit to place the correct checksum?

Please check if gpu-viv-bin-mx6q-3.0.35-4.0.0.tar.gz (and its .md5) is present in /opt/freescale/pkgs

If - not, please place it there (from L3.0.35_4.0.0_130424_source.tar\L3.0.35_4.0.0_130424_source\pkgs\)
