Does anyone from NXP monitor these posts?

4 weeks ago I asked if you have Altium design files for the Imx8M Mini eval kit. No one from NXP has replied.

I have managed to convert the schematics you have provided, but the PCB files will not succesfully convert on even the latest versions of Altium !

Are the files that NXP provide in the 8MMINILPD4-EVK-DESIGNFILES.zip Folder Allegro PCB files? Altium does not recognise them as such.

I would very much appreciate it if someone at NXP could send me Altium design files for the imx8M mini Eval kit, or provide alternative PCB design files that Altium can convert - OrCAD would be fine.

It appears that I am not the ony one with this issue.

Uri has finnaly provided me with Allegro PCB files that will convert within Altium. Thank you.

These need to be the .ALG files, not the .BRD files.

Uri, could you put the .ALG files in the on-line design files ZIP package so all the others that have this issue can convert the files?

Hello,

Design files are provided by NXP in formats, which are used by design engineers,

assuming, that conversion to other formats should be performed by customers, if needed.

Hi Yuri,

Many design engineers use Altium.

The Allegro layout files you supply on your website in 8MMINILPD4-EVK-DESIGNFILES.zip cannot be converted within Altium. I am not the only one who has had this problem.

I am strongly suggesting that you include the .ALG files that you recently sent me, in the online ZIP file so that other Altium users can obtain the pcb DATA.

This would be of conciderable help to Altium users who want to design a imx8M-mini based system.
