      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;I think &lt;SPAN style="color: #000000;"&gt;ERROR: v4l2 capture: slave not found&lt;/SPAN&gt; means there is no camera module on your board.It should not affect the boot process.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Ethernet should not be a necessity for boot.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you get anything on your screen during boot? That may provide a hint. Maybe check if you missed any of the steps mentioned in &lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-330147"&gt;Installing Ubuntu Rootfs on NXP i.MX6 boards&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note that the steps given in the above link are for Ubuntu 14.04. If you are trying to setup Ubuntu 16.04 things may be different since the default init system has been changed from upstart to systemd. According to this &lt;A href="https://askubuntu.com/a/1026682" title="https://askubuntu.com/a/1026682"&gt;link&lt;/A&gt; serial console configuration in &lt;SPAN&gt;etc/init/tty1.conf&lt;/SPAN&gt; may be ignored by systemd.
