topic Recovery time from SUSPEND and WAIt modes in i.MX Processors

The i.MX5x PM driver supports different modes of low power operations.

I'm particularly interested in the:

- STOP mode which maps to "Suspend to RAM"

- WAIT mode which maps to "Standby" mode

Does anybody know what is the recovery time needed from the low poer modes listed above to full running mode ?

Our idea is to read an ADC value each 1s. If the value is below a certain threshold we get back to WAIT (or STOP mode depending of the staus of the external PSU) mode. Are such fast (1 second) transition times even possible ? Looking at the source there should be no limitations, except for some PLL setup times.

Any thoughts, comments ?

Marko
