PING COMMAND IN U-BOOT

ping command is working in sabre SD board ("Host is alive")(ping command from u-boot prompt)

but not working on my custom board

i am using same phy(AR8031) as in sabresd board,there is no change in hardware with respect to sabre board.

when i am doing ping command from u-boot prompt it not working and results "host is not alive"

what could be the problem ?

the recommendations are highly appreciated

could you share the log file? could you get ethernet information in the uboot, when you ping, what message do you get?

i am getting "ARP Retry count exceeded; starting again" message in u-boot

and i am running tcpdump also where i am getting following message

" who has 10.0.0.6 tell to 10.0.0.8"

" 10.0.0.6 is at this MAC address "

i am thinking that message is transmitting properly but reception is not happening

could you share the log file ? in the uboot, can you get the ethernet correctly?

what source code in the uboot do you change? since you don't change any hardware, it should be the same settings, did you set correct MAC address in the uboot? pls send the log file first
