MCUXpresso IDE to support M4 core of i.MX 8QuadXPlus?

Hello,

I am trying to evaluate iMX8X QuadPlus, on development board i.MX 8QuadXPlus MEK. i.MX 8QuadXPlus Multisensory Enablement Kit | NXP.

Its MCUExpresso SDK for iMX8X QuadPlus is available in NXP website, but it does not appear that MCUExpresso IDE supports the MEK nor the device yet, I am wondering when it is available for MCUExpresso IDE to support M4 core debug?

Read the fine print. While they call it the MCUXpresso SDK it does NOT support the MCUXpresso IDE (As far as I can tell).

Seems to be true for all the i.MX8 M4's family. They only support GCC make file and IAR IDE toolchains.

Seems strange NXP does not have support for their own MCUXpresso IDE.
