Hi,

We have IMX8MQ EVM Kit. Currently we are working on POC for one of the our project. In which we have below use case requirement.

DSI Panel (Primary Display)
HDMI/DP Interface (Extended Display) - Different content using presentation class of android API application.

We have go through IMX8M Application reference manual. But we have some doubts related our use case feasibility Due to there is no default dual display support provided with MIPI DSI OLED display.

Is it feasible to use HDMI + DSI output concurrently with Android Pie?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the dual display is not currently supported by our Android BSPs. However, we do have the dual display support by our Linux environments. You could port the dtb to our Android BSP and change the framework to make it work. However, I cannot guarantee that this could work.

I recommend you to go with NXP professional engineer services. They could help you for sure.
