    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If i.MX6 is accidentally&amp;nbsp;restarted during accessing to&amp;nbsp;the serial flash&amp;nbsp;at upper 128Mb segment with 4-byte addressing mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then i.MX6 tries to reboot from the serial flash with 3-byte addressing mode but the serial flash&amp;nbsp;still stays in 4-byte addressing mode.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In this case,&amp;nbsp;the serial flash can not be read correctly because there are mismatch of addressing mode&amp;nbsp;between i.MX6 and serial flash.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To avoid this kind of issue, dose the serial flash with hardware reset pin have to be introduced, and resetting the serial flash when i.MX6 is rebooting?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or are there any other&amp;nbsp;idea?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BR,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;JA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
