It also fetches the source code on-demand, so there are several variables that will affect how much bitbake takes to finish all tasks in the queue:</P><P></P><P>- Your internet connection is one variable, as some repositories are very large.</P><P>- If you are using a Virtual Machine the process will be much slower.</P><P>- Having multiple cores allow to run several tasks in parallel. You may change this number, but it’s recommended to keep it at 2X the number of cores at a maximum.
