yocto bulid error on ubuntu 14.04

my python version is 3.4.3 is later than 2.7.3 .so What's the reason?

BSP : imx-3.14.52-1.1.0_ga

I have confirmed it for you that, you can use the ubuntu 16.04 to build the BSP on yocto. It can work well.

so ubuntu 14.04 is indeed a problem to build the BSP on yocto? but Freescale documentation is available with Ubuntu 14.04

We have tested that on the ubuntu 16.04 the BSP can build success well. The ubuntu 14.04 need more patches.

Hi haibo,

I have confirmed it for you that the most convenient way is to use the ubuntu 16.04. I do not know what patched needed in the ubuntu 14.04. We have build the bsp with the yocto in the ubuntu 16.04, success. So recommend to use the ubuntu 16.04. Hope this can do help for you.
