MCUXpresso SDK Compatability

I would like to develop some software for the general purpose Cortex-M4 on the i.MX8QuadXPlus. The chip I am using has the ID PIMX8QX6AVLFZAA and is mounted on a custom board. Is the version 2.5.1 SDK for MIMX8QX6xxxFZ compatible for building software with this chip I am using?

MCUXpresso SDK is for imx8X mek board, do you mean you develope customized imx8x MEK board with PIMX8QX6AVLFZAA？

Hello Joan,

We are not using an MEK board. The chip is mounted on a custom board designed and fabricated internally by our company. The chip on the board I am developing on has the ID PIMX8QX6AVLFZAA. When I tried to build an MCUXpresso SDK, the closest device I could find was MIMX8QX6xxxFZ. I don't know how to properly compare the device IDs to check for compatibility.

I know many of the examples are configured to run on the MEK, but what I really need are just the headers and startup code for my device variant.
