Compiler problem with KSZ8895

I am using IMX7dea Ucom Som board and Ksz8895 ethernet switch chip.I used SPI interface between mpu and ethernet chip.I add linux driver to mey kernel but i didnt see xx.o file.I guss ccross compile didnt worked.Ant it didnt creat xx.o files.I used KSZ8895 Linux driver for revision 3.3 tared.

How can I fix this?

Also I saw writing blove these in KSZ8895MQ/RQ Evaluation Board User’s Guide

The KSZ8895 will power up initial default configuration with the start switch in register 1 bit 0
= ‘0’ which means the switch is “off”. You can set the bit 0 =’1’ to start switch.

How Can I change this register with spi interface?
