i.MX6Q boot issue from eMMC

Hi,

We have a problem showed below:

1.Condition

1> Schematic is based on MCIMX6Q-SDB;

2> Chip : MCIMX6Q5EYM10AD

2.Problem:

1> One board(new board) can boot to serial download mode and download the image; Then, configuring the board to boot from fuse in eMMC(have been configured), but the board will still boot to serial download sometimes(not always, maybe happens one in two hundred times).

2> We replaced another chip(the same type), then the problem will not happen again.

3> We doubt that the chip is damaged before, but can't find the reason.

Hi Jimmy

for problematic chip one can run ddr test

i.MX6/7 DDR Stress Test Tool V2.92

and update image with new ddr calibration coefficients.

Also one can try to prolong POR during power-up, to check if issue

is caused by crystal slow start-up.
