Hello,

We are using i.MX6 Dual SCM in our design, but Just now we figured out it is declared as EOL, also the supports links for SCM module on NXP website are no longer available,

can you please let us know if there are any replacement's are available, and also please share some FAE contact for bay area and India based.

Hello Ashvin Geete,

There is not a replacement for this part but if you are interested in a PoP version of the i.MX6 there is one with a different package (thus is not pin-to-pin compatible with the i.MX6 SCM). You can see its Datasheet on the link below.

Thanks for your response,

Since the SCM comes with higher level of integration (includes PMIC, Flash, Decaps) same can not be achieved using processor with PoP memory.

we already have prototypes around the SCM, so now it would be really difficult for us (in terms of cost and time) to use some other solution,

I heard that i.MX8M will be launched as SCM next year, is that true?

we don't want exact pin replacement, but most similar in size and design would be great.
