      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;SPAN&gt;Ko-hey&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;why does&amp;nbsp;PWR_BTN_SNS need ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any unmasked interrupt can wake processor from low power mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both PWR_BTN_SNS and ONOFF can wake.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;The PMIC_STBY_REQ can't make any unmasked interrupt so&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;i.MX6 need&amp;nbsp;PWR_BTN_SNS for wakeup from standby with&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;PMIC_STBY_REQ.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;gt;Am I correct ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;for PMIC_STBY_REQ behaviour please check sect.18.5.3.3 STOP mode i.MX6DQ Reference Manual &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.nxp.com/external-link.jspa?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nxp.com%2Fdocs%2Fen%2Freference-manual%2FIMX6DQRM.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/reference-manual/IMX6DQRM.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So processor control PMIC_STBY_REQ signal when it enter/exit from low power modes.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;To exit from low power mode processor should receive unmasked interrupt (from&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;PWR_BTN_SNS, ONOFF or other interrupt source).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0mm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit;"&gt;Best regards&lt;BR /&gt;igor&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
