How to bootup imx6q with eMMC

Hi,

I am working on imx6q sabresd from last few months. I am able to flash the board with SD card portioning with u-boot, kernel, dtb and roofs.

Now, I want to bootup the board using emmc. bcz no any external memory card slot is present on board. how to load the images into eMMC using usb or any other possible way.

Please help.....

Hello,

It can be done through MFGtool.

You just need to use the script that corresponds to the kernel and board that you are using.

Thank you so much for your reply..

I have downloaded the mfg tool and tried to run it by connecting the usb otg of target board to the host machine with usb. But target board is not detecting mfg tool. Can you please give me the detailed information.

Hello,

How do you have your boot switches? You need to be in serial download mode, to enter into serial download mode, you need to have the boot switches as below:

00001100 (from 1-8 bit)
