How to flash secondary bootlaoder(uboot) on the IMX6Q/DL.

Details:

Processor: IMX6Dual

disk : SSD (solid state disk) --- sata type(Installing Android OS on SSD device).

OS : Android 6.0

uboot version: 2015.04-00001

kernel version : 3.14.52

At present flashing the uboot through the MFG tools:

i.e dd if=$FILE of=/dev/sda bs=512 seek=2 skip=0 conv=fsync">write U-Boot to sata</CMD>

1. How to configure Redundant boot support for SSD?

2. How to test/verify Redundant boot support for SSD?

3. Do I need to configure HAB to support redundant boot support, if So how to configure HAB for IMX6DL?

3. Does, i need to authenticate the uboot.bin with HAB signing tool to redundant boot support?

I apologize for the late answer.

In the below document, you can see how to boot a Linux image from SATA drive.

Booting Linux from SATA on i.MX6Q SABRE AI.

For Android can be similar, the difference can that you need to save your u-boot image in your SD card or your e-mmc and the remaining images can be saved in your SSD disk.
