I read some tutorial in this forum about making your PC as a web server for rpm.

But Isn't there any web server in www , which can be used for this purpose ?

You can use some light web server like nginx for such purposes.

Hi Victor,

I am looking for the simplicity of connecting target to internet, and using "yum" or "apt-get".

For some reason, I don't see there is a good solution in yocto for online package installation.

On the other hand, If I install debian with imx6, it should work, Right ?
