can we copy android Oreo source from one host machine to another

Dear All,

I have downloaded imx6dl Oreo 8.0.0_1.0.0 source code on my ubuntu host PC.

Now I want to copy that build to another ubuntu PC.

Will it get compiled and work on second ubuntu PC.

What precautions I have to take while doing this activity.

Please guide.

you can download vmware player(ubuntu) to install the yocto , then you can copy the package to other PC.
