USB not recognized on iMX6Q

Hi,

I have designed Hardware around iMX6Q processor for my project.

I have tested all power rails on the processor and it is successfully up. Now I am trying to connect iMX6 (by setting Boot mode as Serial download mode) USB OTG port with PC USB port to download the U-boot binary.

I am checking the USB device detection in an MFG tool2.exe from NXP. But It gives me error as "USB not recognized on screen".

I checked in PC device manager and it shows "Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

Would greatly appreciate an early response.

Hello Ritesh,

I need to inform you that MFG Tool it is only supported by Windows 7 . If you are having problems detecting the USB can be related to the Windows HOST, we have seen this error before in Windows 8 and Windows 10 since the tool it is not supported because the driver it is not Certified by windows.

I have checked my Hardware on Windows 7 and iMX6Q USB OTG port detected as a device properly.
