Hi,

I have 14-bit image data sampled by an ADC and I want to feed this greyscale samples to imx6 and further process it in the GPU and stream it through the Ethernet. I am going to use camera parallel interface to the IPU.

Can you please tell me whether this is possible or not?

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately current software BSP does not support RAW RGB to YUV422 conversion. There are no any examples.

One needs to add such support himself. Please look at sect

"Color Space Conversion unit - CSC" In the Ref manual

Refer to your camera brochure, if your camera output is 8bit yuv422, I mx6 can support this format, pls refer to the mx6 Reference Manual, for mx6 CSI, Data formats supported include Raw (Bayer), RGB, YUV 4:4:4, YUV 4:2:2 and grayscale, up to 16 bits per value (component).
