      <title>Can i.MX6 eFuse be programmed via JTAG?</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have an i.MX6DL design currently in production.&amp;nbsp; To program the eFuses in manufacturing, we&amp;nbsp;use the USB Serial Downloader and U-Boot method.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For our next design, our CM would like to program the eFuses using JTAG instead of U-Boot to save time and reduce complexity for the ATE.&amp;nbsp; Is this possible?&amp;nbsp; If so, is documentation about this method available?&amp;nbsp; I can find the Fusemap, but not methods for programming it other than U-Boot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chris&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have read that app note before, but it does not explain how to program the eFuses using the JTAG interface.&amp;nbsp; The app note talks about how to enable secure JTAG by burning eFuses via the Manufacturing Tool (USB).&amp;nbsp; I want to know if you have to use the MFG Tool or can the eFuses be accessed by the JTAG port?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
