Android Image on USB Flash for i.MX6 Android 6

Hello Everyone,

I have a custom board which is designed based i.MX6dl. In my system, first u-boot is loaded from a SPI Flash and then all other Ramdisk, Android System images are loaded eMMC or SD card. It is working very well now. But I need to load Ramdisk, System Image from USB stick.

I mean that, I want to use flash memory instead of SD card or eMMC. I have searched flastboot, but I can't use a PC from OTG, my device is working standalone and using a PC is very hard to update image in industrial environment.

unfortunately such configuration is not provided (not supported) by nxp

in its android releases described on official i.MX software link

one can apply to Professional Services for developing that custom solution
