How to use imx6 eim bus and fpga communication. how to configure eim? Do you need to write drivers?

The kernel version is 3.0.45

for fpga one can use description in Chapter 36 WEIM NOR Driver

attached Linux Manual. Example of weim connection can be found in Sabre AI design:
