I'm trying to use an on-board hardware codec with the i.MX6 Solo. The wm8962 and hardware codec's driver are both configured for I2C. Should the I2C subsystem be writing to the SSI controller's DMA address instead of the I2C device's address?

I've been referring to application note AN2629 (below), which leads me to believe that directly writing to the I2C device node's address is incorrect.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN2628.pdf

Thanks.
