I have a same problem with my QSB, and this is not deterministic behavior, sometimes it just works with one click, but the other times I have to hold a button longer.

I already own a QSB with Dialog DA9053 PMIC and today I received my new QSB with MC34708 PMIC. I found that I couldn't reset the board by pressing the reset button on the board. Did anyone have this issue before and what is the solution? Did I miss a patch to u-boot or kernel so the reset signal doesn't route to the chip correctly?

Did you try to hold a button pressed for some time (5 - 10 sec)?

The reset button should be working on the MX53 Quick Start board. Are you using the same boot code for both boards? You need to be using the START-R code that came with the new board. The two codes are not compatible.

I've just found out I need to hold a button for about 10 sec to reset. Thank you for your replies.
