How To Remove The Applications From Yocto

Hello All,

I am using YOCTO Project image name is "fsl-image-qt5" and kernel version is 3.14.28 from this i want to remove the builtin or default applications like :- iMX Player, Music Player, QT3D Basket,QT5Hello. etc... please find the attached image, and i want make it empty white screen and add my own application like iMX player or Music Player, can any one help me how to do this, your help would be great appreciation,

for your demandes, you can build the image like core-image-minimal or core-image-base, for more detailed information, one can refer to the yocto user guide

Hi Joan Xie,

Thank you for your quick reply, but core-image-minimal or core-image-base are not supporting the "qt" environment ,if qt is not supporting how to develop and deploy the my "qt" application on target i think its not possible in core-image-base or core-image-minimal, any other solution to remove the default application please share it here,
