topic imx6 WebGL performance? in i.MX Processors

Can somebody explain me what to expect from webgl on a imx6qd board? I have compiled qtwebengine and am running a qt-application in eglfs. When I run a webgl site, it works, but not smooth. Not everything gets rendered too.

However, the CPU load of the qtwebengine process looks rather low (10%-20%) so I have the impression it's not running in software mode. But the performance is that bad, that I cannot imagine that this is the best it can do...

Anybody knows what to expect? Or how I can tweak?

Thanks
