      <title>CTS Failed for Accelerometer Sensor</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to run CTS for Hardware, on imx6 based custom board. Accelerometer used as suggested by nxp "lsm9ds1_acc".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;while running CTS, we are seeing 37 failures in hardware package as mentioned below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;TABLE style="height: 146px;" width="826"&gt;&lt;CAPTION&gt;&lt;/CAPTION&gt;&lt;TBODY&gt;&lt;TR style="height: 138px;"&gt;&lt;TD style="width: 201.817px; height: 138px; text-align: left;"&gt;-- testAccelerometer_50hz_flush&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;TD style="width: 201.817px; height: 138px; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;DIV style="text-align: center; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"&gt;fail&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;TD style="width: 201.817px; height: 138px; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: VerifySensorOperation | sensor='STM 3-axis Accelerometer', samplingPeriod=20000us, maxReportLatency=10000000us | Magnitude mean out of range: mean=48469.617 (expected 9.80665+/-1.5) at junit.framework.Assert.fail(Assert.java:50)&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/TD&gt;&lt;/TR&gt;&lt;/TBODY&gt;&lt;/TABLE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We tried to debug further in HAL layer of the sensors, HAL is implemented on top of the deprecated version&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Platform:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Processor: IMX6dq&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Android&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; :&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; android-6.0.1_r3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ref: &lt;A href="https://source.android.com/devices/sensors/versioning" target="_blank"&gt;https://source.android.com/devices/sensors/versioning&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please suggest, If you have updated stack for above mentioned sensor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank You&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Babu A&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Babu A,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m just curious, where did you find the suggestion for the lsm9ds1_acc?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I looked for information regarding this but I’m afraid I couldn’t find much, especially on what it’s related to CTS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would recommend looking on the manufacturer’s documentation and forums and even on android developer forums as they may have more information on this part number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
