Why u-boot compilation goes into infinite loop ?

Hi,

I am compiling u-boot for imx6 using edm-yocto. Compilation started properly and executed all the required tasks ( e.g. 242 of 242 ). However, it gets stuck during compilation and goes into infinite loop. I have seen compilation logs, but could not find the exact problem. I have attached console logs for reference.

Could you please help me to resolve this problem.

Hello Kishor,

I tried to replicate this issue but I was able to bake u-boot-edm. My environment settings were:

DISPLAY=hdmi720p MACHINE=edm-fairy-imx6 source edm-setup-release.sh -b build-x11 -e x11

Have you tried to bake again after performing a clean all and then trying again?

$ bitbake -c cleanall u-boot-edm

This BSP is maintained by Technexion so I would also recommend reaching them in case the problem persists.
