4-5 second video lag while live streaming data through a wifi borescope in sabresd

I have few sabresd boards from freescale which runs on Android 4.4 & 5.0.2

Recently I integrated the Wi-Fi Streaming application in all the tools

& found their is a lag of 4-5 in the data received in the Tool when connected to a borescope.

What could be possible issue , Is it something to do with the VPU in imx6 side

had you tried to measure delays without wi-fi,

for vpu one can try to enable low-latency plugin as described in

RTSP gstreamer and vpudec

What do you mean by measure delay without wi-fi

You want me to store media file locally in tool & play from there

& compare that with a good known device.
