Is it possible to use MfgTool for Windows on a VMWARE virtual machine?

It fails after "Booting update client engine"

MfgTool version v1.6.2.048

Where can i find the 055 release?

This file contains the source code, where can i find the "exe" file?

Any experience with virtual machine like VMWare?
