You should get spec from Sitronix or Raystar , and modify the driver based on other Sitronix mainline driver.

Problem with Driving a 5" LVDS Raystar Screen

Hello,

We have a custom carrier board which utilizes a Variscite SoM that is running an iMX8MP processor. We are trying to drive a Raystar RFF500F-LNN-AWW, 5" LVDS screen with a Sitronix ST7262 IC.

We tried with other screens and managed to get the display after the boot process. But for this case, we modified the device tree (I'm adding as an attachment) with no luck. There seems to be no driver for this specific model in the kernel.

Are there any drivers we can use for this screen? Or what can be the problem? Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello, we solved the issue with the Variscite support, it seems they have fixed the LVDS clock of their SoM. The fix in the last part of https://variwiki.com/index.php?title=DART-MX8M-PLUS_Display&release=mx8mp-yocto-kirkstone-5.15-2.0.x-v1.2 solved the issue after recompiling the kernel with the modifications.
