    <description>&lt;P&gt;Trying to understand the best practice for compiling shaders on IMX8 Plus. Using function &lt;EM&gt;glCompileShader&lt;/EM&gt; and &lt;EM&gt;glLinkProgram &lt;/EM&gt;seems to produce really slow shader code.&amp;nbsp; Pre-compiling with Vivante IDE produced code that was 2x-3x as fast.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a way to configure the system so that run-time compiled code is as efficient as code compiled with IDE.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the IDE the target hardware is a configuration parameter to vCompiler.exe but I can't find similar configuration of any kind on the system?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
