High Performance Analog Front End Interfaces中的主题 MC33772B

Here's the thing: We were going to use the MC33772B device for development, but we bought the MC33772C device again because of the lack of information, but our hardware is ready. I want to verify the state of our circuit communication; if I use the instruction MC33772C to read the 0 address register to send to the MC33772B device, can I get a valid callback? At the moment I can only receive all 0s.

Hello Rick,

The MC33772C introduces several changes in the communication protocol and physical layer that make it incompatible with the MC33772B at the communication level. So if your SW is designed for MC33772B and you are using MC33772C devices, the communication will not function correctly unless the software and possibly some external components are updated to support the MC33772C protocol and architecture. Please refer to the AN12633 for more details.

BRs, Tomas
