SC18IS606 I2C-SPI Bridge: How can I know SPI access has been finished by Polling?

The datasheet mentions Polling, but it doesn't seem to describe how to do polling .
How can I know when SPI access has been completed by polling rather than by using an interrupt?

Is there something like a status register for polling?
Or should I monitor a port whether it changes H or L level?

I checked your requirement, unfortunately the SC18IS606 does not have a dedicated status register or using a port indication for polling SPI transaction completion.

Based on your answer, is it right that I can't know completion of SPI transaction by polling even though there is an description about polling in the datasheet?
