Freemaster with RT1010 (AN12591)

I tried to set up FRDM-MC-LVPMSM with RT1010 as in AN12591. I am using FRDM-MC-LVMTR motor and connected three phase lines only. I compiled the sample program, downloaded it to the board. Freemaster seems to be connected to the board. I can not make the motor run. For example, I can not change the application switch variable to ON. Is there anything I am missing? I haven't connect the encoder pins to the motor. How should I have to connect it? Any schematic available?

Hi Kim,

For compatibility with LCD display, the RT1010-EVK hardware board must be reworked following chapter 4.1.2 and Figure 6,7 in AN12591.

I was trying without the lcd panel. I can re-try after re-work the board. However, shouldn't this free master application run without LCD ?

1. In order to be compatible with LCD, some ADC sampling channels and PWM pins must be changed, even if LCD is not used, rework is required

2. If you want to run the demo with freemaster, pls follow the steps in AN12591.
