how can i run softisp with live camera video, is there any examples for it ? please share.

The SW ISP is an independent software. It cannot be used in combination with GStreamer.

Plus, I confirmed with the Multimedia team, and there are no plans to use SW ISP with GStreamer. However, I noticed that RidgeRun did a great work by creating this solution as a GStreamer plugin, the GstISP, and it supports i.MX 8: GStreamer Based Image Signal Processor - IMX8 Pipelines

I am not sure what is CUSTOMER_DIRECTORY mentioned, what is the path i have to give in gst-isp_xxx.bb file, could you please help in this with an example ?

This .bb file is from the RidgeRun project. You will need to contact them.
