We use the WCTAutoA13 wireless charging library on a MWCT1001A to develop a wireless charging solution.

At some point during system init the library switches from normal mode to fast mode.

This involves a soft reset by setting the SWR bit in the SIM_RSTAT register. (see Chapter 5.4.1 Sequence involving Run mode switching in the MWCT100X RM for details)

After issuing that soft reset the debugger loses connection (JTAG state is reset when soft reset is executed) making it so I'm unable to debug the SW.

Is there a way to use JTAG/Once debugging when a SW switches from normal mode to fast mode and a soft reset is issued?

CW 10.6

Windows XP

P&E Micro Multilink FX

Hello

Are you using USBTAP for debugging MWCT1001A? This is a known problem that the debugger loses connection after JTAG reset. With multilink universal, we have no such problem.

Fiona Kuang

Technical Information & Commercial Support
