Hello Kalpakg24

Sorry for the delay, it seems that your distributor has already contacted us internally and we are already providing support, we are going to continue using that medium, I hope there are no problems.

Have a great day and best of luck.

PCA2131 RTC Behavior in Battery Backup Mode

Hi,

We are using the PCA2131 RTC in our BMS design. When the VDD supply is powered at 3.3 V, the device operates as expected. However, when the RTC switches to battery backup mode (3 V coin cell connected to the BAT pin), the CLKOUT signal is not generated.

We would like to understand the behavior of the RTC in battery backup mode, specifically with respect to the availability of the CLKOUT and interrupt functionality. Our requirement is to have an interrupt generated in battery backup mode to wake up the BMS.

Please find the attached schematic for your reference.
