Hi XiangJun , Thanks for reply.

Yes I made sure Pin connections are correct.
Basically I have two CW USB TAP devices - Rev E and REV F. I'm able to connect with Rev F without any issue. But not able to connect with Rev E.
Any idea why I'm not able to connect using Rev E device? Am I missing anything?

I'm not able to connect to MC56F8367 with CodeWarrior USB TAP Rev E - ONCE. I'm using CodeWarrior for MCU
Version: 10.6.4
Build Id:150416

Error launching Motion_56F8367_FLASH_LDM_FSL USB TAP
Bad arguments passed to function

But I'm able to connect using CodeWarrior USB TAP Rev F - ONCE.

Hi,

I am sure that the CodeWarrior for MCU tools has not any problem run on PC with windows 10.

From hardware perspective, pls pay attention to the pin 1 of 14 pin JTAG connector on your PCB, the red cable of 14 flat cable for USBTAP device is pin1.

I have not the other idea why you can not connect, maybe the USBTAP device has issue.

As an alternative, you can use Multilink Universal device with CodeWarrior for MCU tools to download/debug which is third party device .

www.pemicro.com

Hope it can help you

BR

Hi,

You have two USBTAP devices, when you download/debug MC56F8367, one works fine, another does not work, so I suppose that the second USBTAP device maybe break down.
