Hi,

Unfortunately, the SAA7706 was a very old radio product, which was manufactured by old Philips. It was obsolete already,we no longer provide support for the SAA7706, I am sorry.

Hi, Im a firmware programmer in small car audio tuning studio in Bulgaria. We are using SAA7706H DSP chip in our systems, and as datasheet says it has I2S \ CD and dedicated SPDIF1 \ SPDIF2 inputs, but it has no instructions of how to enable this inputs in DSP. Perhaps, this could be achieved via I2C command, but again, no detailed instructions. Can NXP engineer assist me with specific command to enable digital input for DSP?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for an answer, I know that a very old chip, but maybe you have a full datasheet somewhere in your archive or something?
