and download the

Flash Programming Tool for 56F83xx/1xx and 56F801x Digital Signal Controllers. Requires installation of CodeWarrior 7.2 or higher.

I suppose the tools can run on WinXP, Win7, but I do not know if it can run on Win10 OS, because the tools is very old, BTW, the MC56F8006/8013..,.are also very old.

Because my computer is running on Windows 7 64 bits mainly
But I didn't see that the software had a "reading" icon.

Hi,

As it's designation 56800E Flash Programmer implies that the tools just writes code/data to flash instead of reading it to a flash, furthermore, reading flash to a file may infringe the code IP, so it is not a main function. I think the CodeWarrior for MCU tools provides the function.

Click the "Add Action", there is "Dump Flash" option, you can download memory to file with the option.
