Hi, Kumar,

I suggeat you use MC56F84xxx and MC56F82xxx, they are new product.

Digital Signal Controllers | NXP

The MC56F83xx is a bit old.

Currently, both the CodeWarrior for DSP56800E ver8.3 and CodeWarrior for MCU ver11 support the MC56F83xx, both can be installed on the Win7 bit64 and Win10 bit 64 OS.

Regarding the peripheral header file, which includes the peripheral address, it is dependent on the processor itself and whether you use PE, anyway, the header file is available.

This is the example code:

56F836X-816X|Digital Signal Controllers | NXP

Hope it can help you

BR

XiangJun Rong

Hello,

I apologize that I have to remark, as you are NXP stall engineer and probably have more experience than me. But I have to say that the 8.3 debugger did not work good for me on the 8367 (windows7).

Several years ago I started working with eclipse version, and it works good for all the DSC family

Ben
