Hi,

Customer want to confirm the detailed function of NOCOMB bit in register PWMA_FCTRL2n. According to DSC MC56F84789 RM's description,

when the bit is cleared, the input to shuntdown PWM is combined with fault signal and filtered signals. So does it mean PWM will be shunt down by fault without any delay?
when the bit is set, the input to shunt down PWM is just filtered signals. So does it mean PWM will be shuntdown by fault signal with width larger than filter window? And how dose it influence the fault interrupt?

Hello Chao Zhuang, can you please share screenshot of RM for "NOCOMB bit in register PWMA_FCTRL2n" where it is in MC56F847XXRM. As i dont see this register and bits in RM.

Hi Chao,

The FCTRL20 and FCTRL21 registers were introduced on tag ghzpwm.03.13.00.00. Becasue MC56F84789 uses tag ghxpwm.03.08.03.01, so it does not have this function. It seems the documentation is for a newer version of the PWM than is used on MC56F84789.

Besides, Anguilla Silver uses tag ghzpwm.03.12.05.00 so it does not have the FCTRL20 or FCTRL21 registers either.

i.MXRT use tag ghzpwm.03.27.00.01 so it has these two registers.
