    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to ask question for 56F8257 I2C working as slave,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.from the DS, the I2C only support up to 100Kbit frequency, does it also available for I2C slave mode?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.The Processor Experter &amp;nbsp;tool could set I2C peripherals faster than 100KHz, is it wrong?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I2C&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;x&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;_FREQDIV&lt;/SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp; doesn't wrote any&amp;nbsp;restriction for SCL frequency.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.if i2c work under slave mode, if the master driver SCL frequency fast than 100K, could any&amp;nbsp;abnormal signal be possible? please help check below snapshot for I2C wave working under 250KHz as slave.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="8257.png"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/33532iD27B838181F2C18D/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="8257.png" alt="8257.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
