Hi, Marco,

Can you tell me which flash programmer tools you are using? Of course, the MC56F8006 supports the "DSP56800E Flash programmer" tools, which I attached here. Pls try to use the attached tools, I suppose the ARM flash programmer tools does not support DSC, but I am not familiar with so-called "ARM flash programmer" tools.

BR

xiangjun rong

Hello,

My customer has acquired an USBDM programmer. He has downloaded the latest firmware and driver. His machine runs on Windows XP.

He can program MC56F8006 through Code Warrior v. 8.3 (by entering debugger), but he can't program it through ARM Programmer. When he tries to Mass Erase the MCU, the following message comes up:

Another intriguing fact is that when tries to detect another chip, for example, MC56F8246, it appears as MC56F8006. It is as the new MCU is not recognized.

Has anybody experienced something like that? Any idea?

Thanks!

Marco Coelho

DFAE - Siletec Eletronica
