Error launching external scanner info generator

Dear all,

I have just used code warrior studio Development studio for power architecture (CW for PA ) and I tried to import a project. I have built the project many times and it was successful...

However, when I uninstall the CW for PA, re-install it and imported the project. The window of problems displays some errors and warnings as:

Cannot run program "F:\CW_PA_v10.4.0\Cross_Tools\gcc-4.8.2-XMe500v2-linuxspe\bin\powerpc-unknown-linux-gnuspe-gcc" (in directory "F:\workspace_PA\engine"): CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified	engine		[Discovery Options] page in project properties	C/C++ Problem

I don't understand what is the problem? Because I have built the project many times by CW for PA before... and all of them were successful!

In addition, When I run another project, it built successfully.

Can you figure out the problem for me!

Hello Hoa Ho,

Did you have all the project file saved and imported? Also its' included path?

And it seems your project is CodeWarrior Linux Project, isn't it? Do you have it's corresponding service pack installed also? If not please do this from:

"Help"->"Install New Software"->“Work with: FSL PA Build Tools...”->"PA GCC 4.8.2 - r963 Build Tools Service Packs"->"Service Pack for Windows GccE500mcLinux Build Tool version 4.8.2-r963".

Why do you need to reinstall your CodeWarrior?

First, Many thanks for your answer.

I agree with you that the project haven't had enough files yet. I have just solved the problem.

I wanted to test a demo project on BSC9132 board. Having some errors when I fix the source code.

So I reinstalled the soft! ^^
