I am trying to get the Axiom TWR-EDU-KIT TWR-S12G128 system to work with CodeWarrior debugger using USB cable. When I run debugger using Open Source BDM or P&E USB BDM Multilink I encounter an error message that the OSBDM firmware needs to be updated.

After updating the firmware on the board I get the message that ports are undetected and connection manager can not communicate with the target processor.

I should mention that I installed P&E driver version 11 and used their driver tester utility to test the USB driver on the machine as well.

I tested CodeWarrior 5.0, 5.1 and 5.9 all special editions on Windows 7 32 and 64bit.

I really appreciate any suggestion on how to solve this problem.

Thank you,

Milad

I wonder your current osbdm driver is not correctly installed.

Please go to windows device manager to remove your current OSBDM driver. Then reconnect the board.

if windows pop up message to update firmware, please just select the latest one. See below.

Then test if your board can be connected.

If still not, Please use "Firmware Updates and Recovery" tool to update the firmware.

Install it then update the driver as below:
